Overview
The world of training is changing and you are entering it at an exciting but challenging time.
It is no longer good enough for businesses to provide, and trainers to deliver, an ‘event’ that in itself is isolated and has no reference to its application back at work.
Now ‘learning’ and ‘development’ are the key terms and the old trainee has now evolved into the new learner!
Key Outcomes
At the end of the course delegates will have explored and experienced the essential skills for designing and delivering effective training. They will be able to define objectives that meet both business and learner needs and will have a knowledge of different learning styles.
They will be committed to designing training events that challenge and inspire the learner and will recognise the important roles of accelerated learning, learner reflection and active debriefing. They will also be familiar with practical methods for checking that training has been effective.
