Assertiveness
Overview
Assertiveness is a positive process – a skill which can be learnt and practised. It increases self confidence and personal effectiveness and helps us deal with difficult situations.
Key Outcomes
This course explores the ways we behave and their effectiveness. Delegates will leave the course with an understanding of assertiveness – what it is and what it isn’t.
They will recognise the benefits of assertive behaviour to themselves and the organisation in which they work and will be encouraged to put into practice the skills and techniques they learn.
