Microsoft-Office Certification
TTS is now a Platinum Learning Partner with Prodigy UK and are able to offer its customers certification in Microsoft Office products.
Why?
Research shows that employers feel that Microsoft certified employees benefit the organisation through an increase in productivity and competency.
On an individual level Microsoft certification also shows potential employers that you are proficient in the use of modern office tools.

MOS which may be gained in Office 2000, XP or 2003 |
|
|
|
MCAS which may be gained in Office 2007 & Vista |
Modular
The beauty of the scheme is that it is modular in approach and allows you to gain certification in the software that you use the most, (just Word, for example).
However, you can also elect to take several subjects (some at higher levels) and gain an additional award such as ‘Expert’ or ‘Master’.
Subjects
MCAS certification may be taken in Vista, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access.
MOS certification may be taken in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access or Outlook (at ‘core’ level) and also Word and Excel at ‘expert’ level (see table below).

Practical
In order to gain certification you first need the skills (obviously!) and then take a 50 minute practical test in each subject.
To take a test you will need an exam voucher (available through us or Prodigy UK), be registered with Certiport as a ‘test candidate’ (they are the company who create the exams on behalf of Microsoft) and then book a suitable test session with us.
We can help with all of this and provide support if you need it.
Costs
The cost of each test voucher is £40. In addition there is also a £20 charge, per person, for proctoring each test.
However we are able to offer discounts for customers who book tests as part of a training ‘package’.
We will also be offering a special package deal for those who have the required skills and wish to become a MOS Master.
Please Note:
We offer testing for existing customers only and are not able to offer a drop-in testing facility.
